RAISING FUNDS TO IMPROVE OUR CLUB FACILITIES - FOR THE WHOLE COMMUNITY
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
Our Club is struggling to cope with the demand for facilities and are having to travel to various venues around Tyrone & Fermanagh for matches, training and coaching seminars. Some of these round trips are over 50 miles for Youth Matches which are classed as our Home Match.
A purpose-built FloodLit 3G pitch will give so much to the local community as it will provide a safe, shared space for everyone in the community to use & enjoy.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
We're doing a CLUB WALK visiting the 3 Giants within the Sperrins; a challenging 30 mile walk over hilly terrain within a 12 hour window. This is to be completed in one day on the 15th October 2023.
Starting with Ceoldán, the Stargazer (Davagh Forest) - Ceoldán represents our Vision of a Shared Community Space consisting of a Floodlit 3G Pitch, Shared Green Space and Improved Community Clubhouse.
Visiting Nowanois, the StoryTeller (Cranagh) - Nowanois is our story, our sad times, good times and great times and most importantly how we need these facilities to help our community & club move forward in a positive direction in the future.
Finishing at Darach, the Guardian (Mullaghcarn) - Darach who overlooks our facilities represents the Guardians within our Community who are responsible for maintaining these new facilities and who will pass on these duties to generations to come for safe keeping.
BERAGH SWIFTS
We are an Amateur Football Club who play in the Fermanagh & Western Football League. The club was established in 1990 and is a key part of the local and wider community.
Beragh Swifts has 2 senior teams as well as a thriving youth academy with over 80 children of all ages and from all areas of our community.
Since it's humble origins the club has continued to grow both on and off the pitch and have plans to further develop it's facilities at Fountain Lane, Beragh.
